Washington in the summer – July 2020

I shot these on a trip to Washington with my family to celebrate my late grandfather's life. Every time I visit, I wish I could stay for a month.

We looked through old photos we'd never seen before up on the projector. Walked through tiny Tilton River State Park. Stopped to take photos of wild daisies and berries and foxgloves and evergreens. And little sisters.

Mom taught me that a huckleberry vine only grows out of something dead.
