I was in the room with my sister Sarah when she became a mom. This teeny pair of girls witness Sarah's own best characteristics: persistence, enthusiasm, quiet, thoughtfulness, fun, communication, thrill, grace, purity, and honest love.
Photographing mother-daughter moments like this, especially one-on-one, which is rare for this little trio, is so deeply meaningful to me. I hope to shoot more of them this year!
